Kelsie Shelling’s family isn’t giving up hope on their missing loved one. Kelsie was 21-years-old, eight weeks pregnant and vanished without a trace in Denver earlier this year.
Over the weekend, reports say her family organized a rally in hopes of keeping Kelsie’s face in the public and putting pressure on authorities to continue work on the case.
9 News says, “Kelsie’s family says she sent ultrasound pictures to relatives and also to her boyfriend Donthe Lucas. Cellphone records show Donthe asked Kelsie to come to Pueblo when she got off work on Feb. 4, telling her “he needed to speak with her in person.”
According to reports, Kelsie made her way out to Pueblo successfully, but after that is when she disappeared. Her vehicle was found in a hospital parking lot. The Pueblo Police released photos on their website of a person seen on video in the aera. Investigators say on the morning of Feb. 6, 2013, around 7:30 a.m. the person approached Kelsie’s 2011 black Chevrolet Cruze. All authorities know, based on the report on their website, is the unknown person got into the Chevy and left the lot driving northbound.
According to Pueblo Police, “Photos #3 and #4 show vehicles that were parked next to Schelling’s vehicle during the evening hours of February 5th and morning hours of February 6th. Police would like to talk to the vehicles’ occupants as witnesses in the missing person investigation.”
Since Kelsie vanished, her family launched a website with information and have been very vocal about her disappearance.
