When three roommates in Winfield,MO couldn’t find their200-pound pet pig, they thought their neighbor, Jason Finke, was to blame for its disappearance. However, once confronted about the missing swine, Finke allegedly went ballistic and stabbed one of the roomies 23 times with a screwdriver.
Witnesses on the scene said that there was “taunting and provoking” that caused the fight over the missing pig to go from verbal to physical. Witnesses reported that the accused pig thief ran to the back of his truck, grabbed a screwdriver and began stabbing the victim.
Police arrived at the scene late Monday night after getting a call regarding a domestic disturbance. Jason Finke was charged with felony first-degree assault for allegedly stabbing a 38-year-old man — once in the head and 22 times in the back — with the blunt tool.
The victim was treated and released from the hospital, though he did not want to be identified.
Finke is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Sadly, the pig has yet to be found and police worry it may have run away, passed away or become feral. After all that violence, who could blame it?
