Final Words From Death Row: 11 Poetic Goodbyes From Notorious Killers

killers-last-words

We’d all like to say something profound in our last moments. The only problem: We don’t know when it’ll happen. These convicted men (and one woman), on the other hand, got the chance to plan their final parting words. Here’s what they decided to say.

1. JOHN WAYNE GACY, 52

“KISS MY ASS.”

Crime: Convicted of murdering33 teenage boys and young men, as well as the sexual assault of a child.
Executed: May 10, 1994, by lethal injection. The whole process ended up taking almost 20 minutes because of a problem with the chemicals used. Afterward, William Kunkle, a prosecutor at Gacy’s trial, remarked, “He got a much easier death than any of his victims.”

2. TED BUNDY, 42

“I’D LIKE YOU TO GIVE MY LOVE TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.”

Crime: Convicted of killing two Chi Omega sorority girls at Florida State University, as well as a 12-year-old girl, but confessed to 36 murders before his death. Experts have estimated the total was actually closer to 100.
Executed: January 24, 1989, by electric chair.

3. CARL PANZRAM, 39

“HURRY UP, YOU HOOSIER BASTARD, I COULD KILL TEN MEN WHILE YOU’RE FOOLING AROUND!”

Crime: Initially arrested for burglary, but then confessed to killing two boys. Later in prison, he wrote an autobiography, and detailed other crimes, stating, “In my lifetime I have murdered 21 human beings, I have committed thousands of burglaries, robberies, larcenies, arsons and, last but not least, I have committed sodomy on more than 1,000 male human beings. For all these things I am not in the least bit sorry.”
Executed: September 5, 1930,by hanging.

Jeffrey-dahmer

Jeffrey Dahmer

4. JEFFREY DAHMER, 34

“I DON’T CARE IF I LIVE OR DIE. GO AHEAD AND KILL ME.”

Crime: Confessed and pleaded guilty to 16 murder charges, involving necrophilia, cannibalism, and dismemberment. During his confession, he said that he “”created this horror and it only makes sense I do everything to put an end to it.”
Died: November 28, 1994, by being beaten to death in prison. According to Dahmer’s family, he felt ready to die.

5. AILEEN WUORNOS, 46

“I’D JUST LIKE TO SAY I’M SAILING WITH THE ROCK, AND I’LL BE BACK LIKE INDEPENDENCE DAY, WITH JESUS JUNE 6. LIKE THE MOVIE, BIG MOTHER SHIP AND ALL, I’LL BE BACK.”

Crime: Pleaded guilty to killing six men, claiming self-defense. In a court statement, she said, “”I wanted to confess to you that Richard Mallory did violently rape me as I’ve told you; but these others did not. [They] only began to start to.”
Executed: October 9, 2002, by lethal injection.

6. HERMAN WEBSTER MUDGETT A.K.A H. H. HOLMES, 34

“I ONLY WISH TO SAY THAT THE EXTENT OF MY WRONG-DOING IN TAKING HUMAN LIFE CONSISTED IN THE DEATH OF TWO WOMEN, THEY HAVING DIED AT MY HANDS AS THE RESULT OF CRIMINAL OPERATIONS.”

Crime: Confessed to 27 murders and six attempted murders in his Chicago hotel; nine were confirmed.
Executed: May 7, 1896, by hanging.

7. PETER KURTEN A.K.A. THE VAMPIRE OF DUSSELDORF, 48

“TELL ME, AFTER MY HEAD HAS BEEN CHOPPED OFF, WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO HEAR, AT LEAST FOR A MOMENT, THE SOUND OF MY OWN BLOOD GUSHING FROM THE STUMP OF MY NECK? THAT WOULD BE A PLEASURE TO END ALL PLEASURES.”

Crime: Convicted of nine murders and seven attempted murders. When being interviewed by a psychiatrist, he explained that his motivation for killing was for sexual pleasure induced by the sight of blood, although he only confessed to drinking the blood of one victim.
Executed: July 2, 1931, by guillotine.

7. ANDREI CHIKATILO, 57

“DON’T BLOW MY BRAINS OUT! THE JAPANESE WANT TO BUY THEM!”

Crime: Confessed to killing 56 women, and he was convicted of 52 murders and five counts of sexual assault against minors. For a period of time, Chikatilo removed the eyes of his victims because he believed the image of the murderer would be imprinted on the retina. But after a while, he decided it was just superstition and left them in.
Executed: February 14, 1994, by single gunshot behind the right ear.

8. JAMES D. FRENCH, 30

“HEY FELLAS! HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A HEADLINE FOR TOMORROW’S PAPER? ‘FRENCH FRIES’!”

Crime: While serving a life sentence for kidnapping and murder, French strangled his cellmate, reportedly in order to receive the death penalty sentence he wanted first time. He was the last person executed [ed: by electric chair] in Oklahoma.
Executed: August 10, 1966, by electric chair.

9. TOM “BLACK JACK” KETCHUM, 37

“I’LL BE IN HELL BEFORE YOU START BREAKFAST, BOYS. LET HER RIP!”

Crime: Convicted for attempted train robbery, and the only person in New Mexico Territory ever to be given capital punishment for that crime. Ketchum also led a notorious gang of outlaws and was known to have been involved in several murders.
Executed: April 26, 1901, by hanging.

Robert_Alton_Harris_1990

Robert Alton Harris

10. ROBERT ALTON HARRIS, 39

“YOU CAN BE A KING OR A STREET SWEEPER, BUT EVERYONE DANCES WITH THE GRIM REAPER.”

Crime: Convicted of kidnapping and murdering two 16 year-old boys. After killing them, Harris and his brother used their car as a getaway vehicle in a bank robbery.
Executed: April 21, 1992, by gas chamber.

11. CARL BLUE, 48

“I DID SOMETHING WRONG, AND NOW I’M PAYING THE ULTIMATE JUSTICE. IT MAY BE CROOKED JUSTICE, BUT I FORGIVE THESE PEOPLE. SO Y’ALL HANG ON, COWBOY UP. I’M FIXING TO RIDE, AND JESUS IS MY VEHICLE.”

Crime: Convicted of murdering his girlfriend by pouring gasoline on her and setting her on fire. Blue turned himself in after he did it, claiming it was a prank that turned deadly.
Executed: February 21, 2013, by lethal injection.

        LMAO,….. On second

    • noxulifer

Love is a strong word, especially towards people you haven’t met.

      • priss

Yeah I know, but I say it for their souls, where ever they may be……. In hell or just lost souls, but I know some that turned to Jesus Christ and of course they (who open their eyes and realize that this was the only way out of what they did and only by repentance you get a ticket into heaven) who made it to heaven I pray for them to,……

    • Should you ever get stuck underwater, they’ll be searching for you with a rusty hook.

  • Steven

I hope they burn in hell, every one of them.

    • noxulifer

Except there is no hell, and you lack an education to say something so heartless. You’ll learn the hard way…Unless perhaps you yourself are just like these people..

      • Steven

First thing, that was an expression, I have no idea weather there is a real hell or not, just like you don’t know. second thing jackass, you don’t know me or what kind of education i’ve received during my life time, finally if you had someone murdered by a scumbag as I did, you probably wouldn’t think it was so heartless. Before you start spouting off about something you don’t know anything about, do your research so you can at least appear to be intelligent.

        • noxulifer

Your comment again reflects how small-minded you truly are. Pathetic.

  • Brenda Feliciano

    all these motherfuckers are crazy

  • Kim Kingston

Wow, sad that none of them had no regard to human life

    • Katie Henderson

Many of them had never been shown what having a regard for life means.

  • Mary Sigg

Wow to re comments on here make you wonder what murderers are among us!!! You want to take a life take your own.

  • Allan Pope

I remember the Peter Kurtin statement. Still sick to this day.

    • Jennifer Wright

      You were there???

  • Samy Santader

Aileen Wournos was an abused child , due to the apathy of the unjust society

    • Planmyescape

She one of the few that didn’t deserve to die….

      • S. W

        Agreed!

      • Steven Scappaticci

She is definitely one of many who deserved to die. She was pure evil. Just look into those eyes when she was being interviewed on death row.

    • Karl N Karissa Crofts

Really? A lot of kids are abused, hate to say… but it is true, and the majority don’t end up cold blooded killers. Unjust society, we all live in… you don’t see us going around robbing and murdering.

      • Tara Elliott

The majority have better ppl to influence them too after having been abused

        • Juggles

…does not excuse the crime. Right is right and wrong is wrong.

          • iNSaNiTY

May be so but you can’t blame a person like everyone else unless you know them yourself and judge them for who they are that lead him/her to do a crime.

    • Jessica

I was abused as a child. Badly. It messes with your mind but does not excuse murder.

      • Alexandra Van Den Bok

maybe you were never given the… push to do it.we all have different tolerance limits …If someone tried to rape you we would see what you would do… or if someone attacked your child…

        • Jessica

Or maybe there was sexual assault in my past. And many others. I understand there are reasons for people’s actions. Doesn’t make them “excuses”. I also am not saying I don’t have limits. Everyone does. I’m just saying that people don’t get a free pass. I do wish there was more intervention for children in bad situations.

        • The 2 situations you are describing are self defense for justifiable homicide. Go ahead and kill em. lol we are talking about serial killers idiot. Pay attention please. Dang the story even had a bunch of pictures…

        • Tammy Abbott

Only a good mom would know what to do when her child is raped! Sometime vigilante justice is the only justice.

      • Gorga

Who cares they’re dead now , and they were murders , no mistakes here , and no pity parties either . I too had a brutal childhood , but did I kill anyone ? Hell no , that is such a bullshit excuse . I agree with Jennifer 110% , they got what they deserved case close in my opinion .

      • priss

yes it sure done, so was I by my own uncle and I did tell my whole family, and they never told him nothing and they would still let him in our house and they just never believed me, and that grew hatred within me, the thing with Aileen is that she couldn’t let it go, and I understand because its hard it really is hard to cope as an adult when you are reminiscing of the way you were treated as a child

        • Trishq

I am so sorry you went through that and your family did not believe or support you. I hope you have gotten counseling or whatever you needed to stop hating and forgive because as long as you still feel hate, they still have control. Once you forgive, you take control back and you can live again. Trust me, I know

        • Christina Spidell

I’m so sorry. Sad to read something like this.

      • Patricia Sunshine

        Exactly

      • rose

Dame straight its not I was abused badly as well n I would never kill someone unless it was self defense to dsave my kids

    • Leslie

And your point Is??? No justification for these hideous crimes….may they rot in Hell!

      • Tara Elliott

I think the point is its so easy to hold certain criminals accountable when they fail our justice system….but no one is held accountable for failing a aileen when she was a child….seems a bit unfair when they had a hand in the outcome as well…

    • Britain W. Stevenson

She said: I wanted to confess to you that Richard Mallory did violently rape me as
I’ve told you; but these others did not. [They] only began to start to.”
I guess she was mad as hell for being raped. Who wouldn’t be? The thing is…you shouldn’t get yourself in these situations in the first place if you can help it. Men get away with rape all the time.. They get away with too much violence against women. All I’ve got to say is “Watch out men…you might just get worse back on you if you mess with the wrong person.”

      • Jen Nifer

Shouldn’t get yourself in these positions? As in the position to be raped? Please tell me I misunderstood what you meant!!

        • Britain W. Stevenson

          As in PROSTITUTING…GET IT!!

          • Britain W. Stevenson

Have you ever noticed when men rape women and kill them, it has become no big deal…but since it’s so unusual for a woman to do anything like that to men…oh, she’s a monster, right?…that was her nickname.

          • Jennifer Nykanen

Men and women turn to prostitution for a lot of reasons. My mother did it to support my sister in addition to working as a go-go dancer. One male friend did it to keep a roof over his head and food in his belly as he worked as a youth minister. Another man i know sadly used it to give himself a sense of self worth. Yet another man i knew did it to feed himself and afford his medication while homeless. Too many teenagers i’ve known did it to afford to get out of abusive homes, keep a roof over their siblings heads and feed families. I’ve only known one woman who did it to support a drug habit. All those people and not one of them deserved to be treated as less than human. Some were able to get out, some didn’t. NO ONE deserves to be raped. Not a single person asks for that violation and there’s not a profession in the world where it should ever been seen as somehow asking for it. Beyond prostitutes, we should be able to trust our friends, family, and romantic partners. I’ve been lucky enough to never have had to turn to the world’s oldest profession but that doesn’t mean I haven’t know the horrors of rape from both men and women. Reality is people are most often raped by those they know and are close to. Maybe in the future you should be a little more careful of what group you choose to demonize.

Aileen knew abuse but the vengeance she took was wrong. I find committing murder wrong no matter how justified anyone may think it is. Please don’t forget that male serial killers are also referred to as monsters. Just because its rare for women to kill doesn’t mean we have the right.

          • Britain W. Stevenson

So to you prostitution is good murder is bad. What Bible do you go by?

          • Jen Nifer

I do not have to believe prostitution is good or bad to believe people should not be harmed. People willingly seek prostitutes, they aren’t forced to do that. Rape is forcing someone to do something against their will. What bible do you go by that allows people to harm one another? Oh and I don’t go by a bible at all.

          • Jennifer Nykanen

I could just as easily ask what bible you follow that allows us to 1) take vengeance out of God’s hands, 2) break one of the 10 Commandments by killing, and 3) allows for rape dependant upon profession.

Also, its rather presumptuous of you to assume I am a Christian. I will say that my faith is my own and a private matter. Further, my chosen faith is unimportant in a conversation on rape and revenge killing of a woman who was tried, convicted by a jury of her peers, and put to death for her crime. If you truly want to turn this into questions of morality, I wouldn’t be able to have that conversation with you. I have worked hard to be a forgiving woman and have found it is easier for me to be so caring strong ethics and setting aside morals.

          • Britain W. Stevenson

Well obviously you are not a Christian as a Christian is one who follows Christ, and tries not to do harm to others. Prostitution does a lot of harm to others emotionally and physically. Here’s a secret for you…I got cervical cancer from an X husband whom was visiting PROSTITUTES, I come to find out. Here’s another secret…I divorced him and he put my kids and me through hell and almost killed us all in the process, besides other things if they were ever looked into would put him in jail or prison right now. So your argument FOR prostitution is all based on your own selfish motivation and belief. You are not thinking of others, not even your own self esteem or self worth. Notice Jesus didn’t tell the woman caught in adultery or the prostitute to continue in SIN…He said, “Go and sin no more”. But as you said…”Also, its rather presumptuous of you to assume I am a Christian. I will say that my faith is my own and a private matter.” Fine, but don’t include others in your murders because prostituting causes diseases which lead to DEATH…MURDER… just like AIDS! It is against the law to KNOWINGLY engage in sex with someone knowing you have AIDS. Just because they have not made it a law to knowingly engage in sex with someone knowing you have STDS, doesn’t make it OK. BTW, this conversation was not about me okaying Rape. Never said that. Engaging in prostitution, can lead to rape and a lot of times does. Some of those nuts out there, don’t give a damn about a woman or man or child whom obviously has no morals or concern for themselves much less others, that is walking around selling themselves to all those dirty disgusting predators, and who knows which one might just be a rapist, murderer or serial killer. This was my whole point. Sorry you didn’t get the point.

          • Jennifer Nykanen

Ok first of all, the statement you made of “The thing is…you shouldn’t get yourself in these situations in the first place if you can help it.” Puts the blame on the victim and not on the rapist, where it belongs. Clarifying that you were referring to prostitution in reference to the previous statement means that in your view, if a prostitute is raped its their fault for being there in the first place.

I’m sorry to hear your ex husband treated you and your children so cruelly. Its my sincerest wish that he pays dearly for the trauma he put you and your family through. No one should be put through hell like that and i hope you’ve found healing for heart, soul, and mind.

its not illegal to have sex if you have AIDS. Its illegal to NOT TELL your partner before intercourse if you have AIDS. Also, the STD that causes cervical cancer is called HPV. Roughly 80% of the population has it and the infection sits there about 15 years before it has the capacity to form abnormal cells that lead to cancer. This is why its considered impossible to tell who would have passed it. I know this from experience as well. STD’s are not caused by prostitutes nor are they the sole reason people are infected. AIDS is a mutation of a disease carried by primates that passed to humans. It started much farther back than the 1980’s. Here’s a secret for you – People who don’t sell themselves, who don’t engage in safe sex practices also pass STD’s. I firmly believe that anyone with a STD has a responsibility to make that known to EVERY sexual partner they have.Condoms were created a long, long time ago for a reason and it wasn’t just as birth control.

Just to be clear, I have NEVER sold my body and everyday I am thankful that I haven’t been in a position to have to make that choice. At no point did I say I was for or against prostitution. i am well aware of the perspective changes, dangers, and the drain on the soul that life has. People do what they need to do to survive and I refuse to pass judgment on someone without knowing them. That doesn’t make me a murderer. Its a part of what shows that I have an understanding of compassion for my fellow humans. I find it sad you’re unable to consider a desperate situation, empathise with those less fortunate than yourself, or look past the “sin” to even see the person in front of you.

I don’t think of others? Darlin’ I open my apartment to the homeless during the day so they have a place to shower, wait for appointments, and not be treated as less than human. I cook so at least they have one good meal a day. I’ve talked with the terminally ill and have been blessed enough to help many make peace. I’ve helped others work through the trauma of rape, abuse, miscarriage, death, suicide, suicidal ideation, self harm, sexual identity, gender identity, PTSD, the nightmares and guilt born from the horrors of war and the list keeps growing. Its not unusual for me to have long conversations with the mentally ill, helping them find the services they need to hopefully become stable. When was the last time you found yourself explaining cause and effect in regards to human emotion to an adult that just didn’t understand? I’m disabled, receive a monthly check and can’t afford to donate the little money i get so I give my time and effort.

I’m a survivor of incest (both parents), a survivor of childhood physical and emotional abuse at the hands of my mother. I’m a multiple time survivor of rape (my first long term boyfriend. We were engaged.) One boyfriend cheated on me more times than I can count. I’ve been drugged by close friends, spent a lot a years as a cutter, survived 7 suicide attempts that began in 4th grade, have battled anorexia since high school, was forced to cut my blood family from my life because of the toxic relationship and lived through things you’ve only seen in documentaries on torture. And all that happened by the time I was 19. My life has been a trial by fire and I keep on passing the tests.

The truth of the matter is that you’re biased because its easy to damn the faceless hooker for a failed marriage than to admit you and your ex-husband share the blame. Get down off the cross hunny. Somebody else needs the wood.

          • Britain W. Stevenson

Go back and read your comment on March 11, 2015 at 6:18 am and tell me you were not defending prostitution. And however you think it should be worded about AIDS, it’s still a death warrant. I still stand my ground about putting yourself in situations where you are more likely to get raped AND MURDERED and YES prostitution, is high risk for that. It doesn’t matter how long an argument you have about it. And (hunny), I’m sorry you had such a terrible childhood, but some people are under a three generation curse for the sins of their fathers/mothers. It’s too bad, it sounds like you may have been born into that situation. I was a stay at home mom for almost 27 years raising four kids, and my X was a salesman and roamed all over the U.S. I found out it was a FACT he was the carrier of a diseased prostitute. I’m glad I lived a halfway sheltered life away from all the ugly crap of the world. Since my divorce and having to make a living on my own still raising a sixteen year old WITHOUT child support, I have been in situations and struggling to pay bills and doing without. God always finds a way for me, when I do my part (without sinning). I wouldn’t want to put a curse on me and my family.

          • Cheryl Babineau

You go by a bible? You really do have issues.

          • Britain W. Stevenson

            Seriously?…

          • Jen Nifer

Prostitution does not excuse rape! There is never an excuse for rape! If you are exchanging sex for money then it is still something that should be agreed upon by both parties. If someone says no the answer is no regardless of his/her chosen profession.

          • Britain W. Stevenson

Seriously?…there shouldn’t be an excuse for prostitution either. This is one of the reasons the US has gone to hell and a hand basket. No morals no family values.

          • Jen Nifer

I never said I agree or disagree with prostitution. I said there is no excuse for rape. Prostitution and rape are totally different. Prostitution is a service in exchange for goods whether money, drugs, housing or anything else. Rape is being forced to do something against your will. It’s funny that if you do it behind closed doors it’s illegal yet porn stars make movies or take photographs for money and that’s okay.

        • Prostituting? How did you get that from:
“I wanted to confess to you that Richard Mallory did violently rape me as
I’ve told you; but these others did not. [They] only began to start to.”
First there is rape, then there is attempted rape.
Then.. There’s you. Blaming the victim by calling her a prostitute.
Of course, prostitution is only a sin in your eyes, and not anything else.

    • Lucie Hood

If you were victimised you still have a choice to become the abuser. She had no remorse, there for wasn’t a victim anymore.

      • Cheryl Babineau

Remorse for what? Killing a rapist? How many times must you be attacked and raped before it’s ok to not lay down and take it any more.

        • Lucie Hood

Because retaliation instead of getting and seeking help is okay? Murder and rape are never okay in any instance! Maybe get angry at the justice system that don’t have fair rights for her in that situation. She still took a life. Which makes her exactly what she was against.

          • Cheryl Babineau

Yeah and if someone ever tries to rape me again I’ll be that fucking murderer and give about as much shit about his life as he gave about mine.

        • Lucie Hood

Maybe look at the facts of the case as well instead of just finding some personalisation of the situation. Obviously this hits close to home which I’m sorry about but if this was you and you murdered someone, you’re still a fucking murderer.

    • Patricia Sunshine

I get so tired of people me saying that people kill because they were an abused child. I was an abused child. Mentally . physically emotionally and sexually and I sure as hell have never killed anyone or would want to. I have no anger issues and I don’t let it over take my life. I never have . I’m so sick of people using this as an excuse to do bad and harm others

      • Cheryl Babineau

Maybe you should now learn to use the word I less. I would kill any MF that tried to touch me or my kids. There’s an I for you.

    • John Doe

I was also horribly abused as a child, but you dont see me murdering people.

  • Oreadno1

They don’t mention that Ketchum’s hanging was botched and his head was ripped off by the hanging rope because he had gained so much weight while awaiting execution.

  • Lisa

People r monster u no its only getting worse jesus help us all

  • Jen Nifer

Dahmer was not on Death Row. WI doesn’t have the death penalty and hasn’t since the 1800’s.

    • Karl N Karissa Crofts

Yes very true… but he has last words because he was beaten to death, with witnesses.

      • Jen Nifer

The title of the article is “Final Words from Death Row.” Yes he had last words but not from death row.

        • Karl N Karissa Crofts

Agreed…. however, the writers of these stories are known to make little things up and put things in stories to get more attention…. I’ve come to not believe the headliners 100% anymore. Kinda lame they feel they have to “dress” things up so to say….. :/

          • Josh Lament Strang

Not to be too cynical but things like this are all to common now. It is pretty sad :/

          • Karl N Karissa Crofts

I agree, it really is 🙁

      • Ruthie Coble

he stated from the time of his trail that he needed to die….there were no defense wounds on him at all…he let them kill him.

        • Karl N Karissa Crofts

Didn’t say there wasn’t… I know… haha, I know the whole case. All I was stating is that he has last words on here because he was killed with witnesses around…….

        • Jen Nifer

I didn’t dispute any of the facts. I dispute the headline on this story. If they want to be credible they should be accurate.

    • josette63

true…but it doesn’t make him any less dead.

    • Jessica

You are correct! The headline needs fixed!

    • Gracie777

      Dahmer got his justice.

  • I would cry a river if it was me

It’s different when you’re not mentally sound. If they were like you, they probably wouldn’t have done the things they did in the first place.

  • Alexandra Van Den Bok

i never regarded Aileen Wournos as the monster they say she is. She didn’t really kill outta pleasure or anything. Most of the men she killed tried ti rape her. And for the love of God she shot them not like ate them or anything. And remember that we can all become killers given the right circumstances ….From all the killers i’ve read about she is the … most normal. On deadly women the special episode about the 10 worst women killers she was no1 or something… so she is worse that knorr????? come on …

    • Britain W. Stevenson

      You tell’em!

      • Britain W. Stevenson

I’m sure it was men who gave her the label, MONSTER.. No, I’m not a man hater…
        just a truth seer.

Sociopaths and Psychopaths. Everyone do your research. I’ll leave it at that.

  • Miranda Lewis

In my opinion it doesn’t have nothing to do with them being abused as a child but everything to do with what’s going on in their head. People who can do what these people have done have something wrong with the wiring in their minds and no matter what they do they can’t get it straighten out. So instead of saying they’re crazy, and because they’re narsisistic they blame their parents.

And you’re entitled to your opinion, however, psychology involves a lot of variables. Environmental, social, and genetic factors are all responsible for mental illnesses. You can’t try to understand someone who has a totally different brain development going on. Science will open your mind 😉

  • #4 sounded like he regretted.

    #7
sounded like he is a blood-gushing fan or something. Quite a sicko cos
he actually asked if he could hear the blood rushing out from the stump
of his neck after his head is chopped off.

#7 Proceeds of sale of brains goes to who?

#8 He sounded very happy to die. He purposely killed a prison-mate in order to get a death sentence.

    Good list!

Ppl kill because of the anger they’ve kept inside (aileen)…had that anger, and never setted it free ,

  • priss

Aileen killed him or them in other words because there were many others, because she was brutally raped, and she held that anger inside her that’s why she did it, because in her mind she had already viewed everyone as sexual predators, and scumbags, so no she’s no monster she’s just a real person with a real soul, she had feelings too you know, but she got to a certain point to where she just couldn’t no more, and she was not put in that situation that guy forced her to do stuff and then stuck A big stick in her what what….so I understand her hatred for men that are sexual predators

CARL BJUE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BURNED TO DEATH!!! LET THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME!!!

  • The writer of this article confused the word “poetic” with “witty”. Bloody fool.

    • Christine Marie

True , and none feared death but I never considered death a punishment. I’d say more of a release from all physical, psychological, and emotional suffering. Perhaps it is the process or thee unknown that some fear but living can be far worse scenario for some.

  • Charlennag

Pretty strange that a couple of the killers were rather critical of the effectiveness and speed of the death penalty, like it just couldn’t compete with them.

  • yogz

Not everyone’s mind can handle severe child abuse duhh

  • Marie Wark

There are no excuses and there may never be answers. Their victims are long gone and so are they. I feel sorry for the families, the families of the victims and some of the perpetrators families. What a heavy burden they’ll carry to their graves.

  • John Standley
