Shaneka Torres is in a super-sized amount of trouble after losing her cool at a McDonald’s drive-thru last month.
The fast-food fan had ordered a bacon cheeseburger—her second of the day, in fact—but the worker behind the window forgot her beloved bacon.
After encountering a similar problem during her visit earlier in the day, Torres became enraged and pulled out a handgun.
She fired one round, which shattered the driver’s side window of her car before flying through the restaurant.
Torres left the scene, but was later arrested at her home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The suspect’s defense was that the gun went off accidentally and had nothing to do with the burger’s lack of bacon; however, that assertion directly contradicted what witnesses saw on the night in question.
The 30-year-old shooter was convicted of multiple charges, including carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm into a building and felony use of a firearm.
Torres will be sentenced next month and could face up to seven years in prison.
