On Sunday, George Zimmerman sparked a vicious uproar after he retweeted a photo of the dead body of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed black teen he shot and killed back in 2012.
The image shows Martin lying dead in the grass, and was originally posted by a Twitter user named @SeriousSlav with the caption “Z-Man is a one man army,” according to Raw Story.
Zimmerman — aka @TherealGeorgeZ — retweeted it, though Twitter has since deleted the original tweet with the image embedded in it.
Zimmerman’s account is still rife with racist, questionable content, though, including missives like “Cops lives matter, black slime doesnt” [sic] and comments about President Obama being an “ignorant baboon.”
He also went on a Twitter trolling rampage in the wake of the Martin photo backlash. He wrote, as his tirade was winding down, “As much as I love owning all you trolls I have to work… On my tan! Tell ‘Karma’ she’s worthless, God protects me.”
