  • The NYPD said they arrested a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle club after he allegedly chased a man away from their East Village clubhouse with a baseball bat and a gun. The report said 28-year-old Jose Brito was allegedly waving a gun, but cops haven’t found that weapon yet. [NY Daily News]

  • A 21-year-old suspect, Travis Vartorella, pulled a three-foot sword on his former roommate in a fight over pizza rolls. The guy was reportedly collecting his personal items from the home they’d shared when he went for the frozen rolls. A dispute over the ownership of the tasty snacks ensued, and the cops were called. Officers also found a six-foot samurai sword and a machete on the premises. Vartorella is also a registered sex offender. [Smoking Gun]

  • A 23-year-old man is facing charges after police say he allegedly threw a Batarang at them. In case you’re wondering what a “Batarang” is, it’s a bat-shaped boomerang normally used by Batman. No word on where the suspect got one of these. He is also accused of allegedly threatening a bouncer with a spear. [NBC]

  • A Florida couple is under arrest after police say they were involved in a bizarre incident involving a machete, ghosts, and the drug molly. Deputies said they found 26-year-old Megan Silva running down the street. She reportedly said she was high on molly and being followed by her partner who believed he was chasing ghosts out of their house with a machete. Two children, 6 and 8, were also inside the home at the time of the incident, but were unharmed. [WFLA]
  • A homeless man, George Pugh, turned in 18-year-old Hunter Lee Taylor for making threats against the cops. Pugh was allegedly smoking marijuana in Manhattan’s Port Authority Bus Terminal with Hunter when the suspect “motioned” toward a Port Authority officer and said, “I’d like to off that guy.” The homeless tipster said at first he didn’t believe the teen, that was, until he saw that he had a gun. [NY Post]
  • A Florida man was arrested because of his Krispy Kreme donut? The 64-year-old said he was handcuffed, arrested, booked (and even stripped searched) because of the tasty treat. The motorist, who was pulled over for speeding, claims that every other week he treats himself to a donut. The little pieces of glaze that fell of the donut looked like crystal meth to the cops, so they arrested him. A test reportedly came back “several weeks” later, clearing the guy of any wrongdoing.   • A terrible case in Scotland has uncovered nearly 500 children as innocent victims of sex abuse. Authorities took down 77 suspects and charged them with rape, sharing indecent images of children, and many other crimes. Police say they found around 30 million photos. Some of the victims were as young as three. [Daily Mail]
  • A mother who admitted to loving her boyfriend more than her child was convicted of the baby’s death. The “drug-taking” boyfriend, 27-year-old Hardeep Hunjan, is convicted of killing the 13-month-old by beating him to death. The child’s mother was not found guilty of killing the child, but is convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child. [Telegraph]

  • A suspect has been arrested for the theft of almost 1,000 Venus Flytrap plants. Authorities in North Carolina say 23-year-old Paul Simmons, Jr., will serve up to 17 months behind bars after poaching the plants from a public game lands. The carnivorous plants are protected and only grow in the U.S. in wetlands in southeast North Carolina and northeast South Carolina, according to the report. [Fox News]
