These are the crime stories making headlines today, October 14, 2016 …

  • Danney Williams, the man who claims to be the “love child” of former President Bill Clinton and an Arkansas street prostitute, reportedly has a long rap sheet. On Infowars, Alex Jones described Williams, 30, as a “very credible” hard-working man with no criminal record. However, The Smoking Gun reports that Williams is a convicted felon who fathered five children by the age of 21 and has been sued by state officials for failing to pay child support. He has also been busted for bad checks and probation violations — and admits to marijuana use. Williams claims that Hillary Clinton has been largely responsible for keeping him away from his alleged biological father. • Shocking video footage has emerged of a Michigan judge who threw off his robe and helped restrain a defiant man in his courtroom. Jackson County Circuit Court Judge John McBain said he became concerned about the safety of the defendant and a court officer during a hearing about a personal-protection order violation. McBain tells the man he has a “bad attitude” and orders him to serve a three-day jail sentence, which quickly increases to 93 days as the man refuses to stop talking. McBain can then be heard shouting, “Tase his a** right now,” and rushing toward the defendant. The officer was able to restrain the man without using his Taser. The judge said this is the first time he’s had this type of physical confrontation in court. [CBS News/YouTube]

Actor Bryan Cranston told Tonight Show viewers in an episode that aired on Wednesday night that he and his brother Kyle were once apparently suspects in the murder of their boss. Cranston, who portrayed Walter White on Breaking Bad, described their past employer as a mean chef and confessed that most of his employees had imagined his death at some point. Unfortunately, the Cranston brothers skipped town at the time of the murder, so they were pursued, then investigated by police. [Mashable]
  • A mother who stopped at a Wendy’s in Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday evening to get fast food was shocked to find marijuana in her daughter’s fries. Dezeray Risner told police she found the reefer after her four-year-old daughter, whose day care is located next to the restaurant, said her french fries “tasted funny and were ‘yucky,’” according to a police report. She told her daughter to spit the food in her hand, and said: “When I looked at it, you could see it. It was chewed up with the french fries. There was the weed in there, the wrap that it goes in or whatever. I freaked out.” [WPXI]
