Christian Clark, 21, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of her son, 17-month-old Andre Price III, as well as the attempted homicide of her two-year-old daughter, Angel Price.
Police believe that in the course of a two-hour text-message fight with the children’s father, Andre Price, Jr., Clark sent him three videos and two photos of the boy’s lifeless body, along with videos of her abusing the girl.
The argument commenced around 9 P.M. Tuesday evening, with Clark expressing anger at having to clean up toilet water the boy splashed on the floor and accusing Price of going out to have sex with another woman. As the conversation carried on, Clark’s tone grew more violent.
Among the numerous messages she sent were these dire statements: “Ya kids ain’t safe here I don’t want them here”; “Answer me or im going to jail for child endangerment“; and “So you better pray for your kids.”
Finally, at 10:01 P.M., Clark wrote “I’m killing them,” accompanied by a laughing emoji with tears coming from its eyes.
Thirteen minutes later, Clark sent video of herself attacking the children, to which she added, “Ahh look Angel is still alive and sweating your son on the other hand is not even breathing, I wish I could keep the camera still.”
Authorities believe Clark held her son down on a mattress until he suffocated. It’s unclear what exactly happened to the two-year-old.
Clark next wrote, “First of all she is clearly fine, because watch, see she is not dead. Him on the other hand, he doesn’t budge. So you might want to call the ambulance,” followed by, “All cus you wanted to go [have sex with] her and come here when you like.”
In addition, Clark added, “Im sure it’ll hurt me one im sitting in jail & you got all the evidence you need to I can’t even say he suffocated in his sleep or say idk what happened.”
Throughout the exchange, authorities say Price responded only six times. Sometimes it seemed as if he was ignoring her, the report adds. After the third video, wherein Clark picks up the boy’s dead, limp body and tosses him on a bed, the dad urges her to “try to wake him up.” Clark then wrote that she was dialing 911 and Price added, “You need to if he dead.”
Investigators said they met Clark at the hospital to question her, and she initially denied having anything to do with her son’s death. Later, at the police station, she reportedly confessed.
Authorities said they had never responded to the home before for any incidents involving the parents or the children.
Clark is currently being held and is not eligible for bail. Her next court appearance is slated for later this month. Andre Price III is not expected to face any charges.
