Florida Man Murdered Mother Of Four, Had Sex With Her Body Just For The “Thrill”

A 21-year-old Florida man has told police he killed a mother of four and then had sex with her dead body — while her two-year-old child was in the home — just for the “thrill” of it.

Christopher Shows was arrested on Monday for the murder of Amanda Suarez, 21, inside her Okeechobee home.

Unfortunately, it was no rhyme no reason. He just wanted to know what murder felt like,” the county’s sheriff-elect, Noel Stephen, told WPTV.

Police say Suarez recognized Shows, who had been dating her cousin, and let him into her apartment. Shows allegedly made a pass at Suarez, but the Christian mother rejected him. Shows then grabbed a .22-caliber rifle from his truck and shot her in the back as she tried to run out the door.

Police say he then dragged his victim into the kitchen, positioned her in the form of a crucifix, and had sex with her body. Detectives admit that there is no way to determine exactly how long the victim remained alive during the assault, and for how long of its duration she was deceased.

Police noticed Suarez’s cell phone was missing from the crime scene, but were able to “ping” it and track it down to the side of a nearby road. Investigators found a photo of Shows sleeping on Suarez’s couch saved on the blood-covered phone. Police believe Shows ditched the phone and burned his clothes in order to avoid leaving evidence behind.

Shows was booked on a litany of charges that included murder, battery, and desecration of a body.

The children are reportedly living with family members and receiving counseling.

I’ll be honest I would much rather I was dead when raped rather than be alive. I do not want to experance that truma ever again, at least dead you don’t feel the pain or humliation. Nor do you have to live in fear that you’re forever marked as a victim and everyone knows how weak you are just by looking at you.

experance- learn to spell, please, before posting. it’s experience NOT experance. Being raped is not a sign of weakness on the victims part, but rather on perpetrator’s part. And should you endure being raped or any other crime, you have a choice of continue to be a victim of the crime or not. You’ll never forget the crime, but you don’t have to continue being the victim. Either you’re young or just need to use your head for more than just a hat rack.

My spelling problems are due to a learning disability, I do the best I can.
I was refering to feelings that stay with you even after you stop being a victim and yes I have been raped. Yes I’m young but I don’t see what age has to do with the emotional effects of being raped. I choose to voice these feelings because it is important that people talk about these topics. Emotions are not rational and having those feelings does not mean that I’m choosing to be a victim. I do enjoy my life and I do not feel I’m a victim.
Oh and I’m one of the top students in my unit at university despite my poor spelling.

Boomerang is an Idiot! As a surviving victim of a work place shooting, I can tell you that I will never forget. It has effected my life in ways I never even considered. I have key triggers that take me back to that day. I don’t think that will ever change. No, I wasn’t raped, I am not trying to solve your issues. I am telling you my experience’s so you can relate.

          • Mandy

Tim I could not even imagin the kind of fear would be involved in a work place shooting. Any violent crime leaves most people to struggle with different issues but I would think we all know what it’s like to have flash backs.

This guy needs to be dead. Unfortunately, he didn’t get dead before he did this.

I just have one question, if he was trying to destroy evidence, why didn’t he delete the picture of himself on the victim’s bloody phone? Really, Florida? That’s a real duh moment, even for Floriduh.
