Anthony, the 30-year-old Florida mom who was controversially acquitted of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee in 2011, is reportedly in talks to costar with Simpson.
Simpson, 69, was found not guilty of brutally murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1995.
“It will give viewers the inside story on the aftermath of living with the horrible crimes they were ultimately acquitted of,” a source told InTouch magazine.
Simpson’s shooting schedule could get complicated, considering that he’s still behind bars. The former football star is currently serving a 33-year sentence in Nevada after being convicted for stealing sports memorabilia at gunpoint from a Las Vegas hotel. But he’s hoping that a parole board in October will shorten his sentence.
The source said that he’s willing to start a dialogue with Anthony. “He’s putting Casey on his visitor list, and is even willing to pay for her to visit.”
Anthony, who has been called the “most-hated mom in America,” recently spoke out for the first time six years. In an interview with the Associated Press, she revealed that she “empathized” with Simpson’s situation, and that she feels a kinship with him. During the interview, she also said: “I don’t give a s— about what anyone thinks about me, I never will. I’m okay with myself, I sleep pretty good at night.”
Also, let’s not forget that Anthony’s current roommate is Patrick McKenna, who was the lead investigator for Simpson’s defense team.
