Elizabeth Smart has shared a shot of her adorable new baby boy on social media.
“These two make my Easter perfect! 🐣 #soinlove #happyeaster #sundaysareforfamily #blessed #bigthingsinlittlepackages” she wrote in her post.
Smart’s father said that she was expected to give birth on April 2, but she has not confirmed what day her son was born, or revealed his name. She also has a two-year-old daughter, Chloe, with husband Matthew Gilmour.
Smart, who survived a kidnapping that made headlines around the world, told People that she considers her mom a “hero,” and her greatest aspiration is to be a mom.
In 2002, Brian David Mitchell kidnapped Elizabeth, who was then 14, from her Salt Lake City bedroom in June 2002. She was held captive by him and his wife, Wanda Barzee, for nine months before being rescued in 2003.
These days, in addition to being a mom, she’s an author, an inspirational speaker, and has recently announced that she will executive produce and narrate a movie about her life and her ordeal.
