PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL — A Florida woman is facing a felony assault charge after she allegedly tried to mow down her daughter’s ex-boyfriend — whom she admitted to also having an affair with — with her Mercedes-Benz.
Kathleen Regina Davis, 58, admitted to Palm Beach Gardens police that she had an intimate relationship with the 33-year-old man during the same time that he was dating her daughter, according to an arrest report.
Davis claimed the man ruined her relationship with her daughter after he confessed to her about their affair. So on September 20, an enraged Davis headed to the man’s house, west of Interstate 95.
First, she allegedly tossed several eggs at his car and house. When police arrived on the scene, they saw Davis driving in circles in the front yard of the house while attempting to hit the man with her Mercedes. She reportedly told officers she wanted to run the man over and wanted him to die.
The victim told police that he was no longer dating Davis’ daughter, and claimed that he was nearly hit by the Mercedes multiple times.
Davis is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. She was released from the Palm Beach County Jail after posting a $3,000 bond.
