Manhunt: Unabomber

Manhunt: UNABOMBER tells the dramatic and gripping true story of the FBI’s hunt for the Unabomber, the deadliest serial bomber in history. The story focuses on FBI Agent and Criminal Profiler Jim “Fitz” Fitzgerald (played by Sam Worthington of Avatar and Hacksaw Ridge), who pioneered the use of forensic linguistics to identify and ultimately capture the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski (Paul Bettany, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers series, and A Beautiful Mind). This series features both Bettany and Worthington’s first major leading roles on U.S. television. As a fresh faced criminal profiler and the newest member of the Unabom Task Force (UTF), Fitz faced an uphill battle not just against the Unabomber — one of the most sophisticated and brilliant criminals in history — but also against the bureaucracy of the UTF itself as his maverick ideas and new approaches were dismissed by the system. Final Vision

Final Vision is coming to Investigation Discovery on Sunday, December 10 at 8/7c and will also be available to stream on ID GO that same day! Final Vision is a true-crime drama based on the longest-running criminal case in U.S. history — the story of Jeffrey MacDonald (Scott Foley of Scandal and Felicity), a handsome, Ivy League–educated Green Beret Army Doctor, who was convicted of brutally murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters in the middle of the night. One of the most horrifying murder cases of its time, Final Vision is told through the eyes of best-selling author Joe McGinniss (Dave Annable of Brothers & Sisters and 666 Park Avenue), who was approached by MacDonald and asked to write a book about his personal nightmare as he was about to go to trial. According to MacDonald, he was falsely accused. Beginning as a story about an innocent man being railroaded by a flawed legal system, the movie takes viewers through a twisted psychological thriller that exposes a far more sinister man behind the charming and heroic façade MacDonald portrays.
