“Little Women: Atlanta” Star Melissa Hancock Pleads Guilty To Fatal DUI Charges

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Melissa Hancock, the 25-year-old former star of the reality TV show Little Women: Atlanta, has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors regarding a November 2017 car crash that killed Coast Guard officer Daniel Dill.

The court issued Hancock a $150 fine for driving her 2011 Cadillac the wrong way on Interstate 264 and failing to obey a highway sign.

Hancock had been drinking prior to when she collided with Dill’s 2009 Mazda. Initial reports indicated that Hancock’s blood alcohol content tested at .122 two hours after the crash. However, prosecutors now say it was actually between .17 and .19 — which still is over the legal limit.

Hancock’s monetary punishment may seem like she’s getting off easy, but be aware that she still faces a massive felony aggravated DUI manslaughter charge, which could carry a 20-year jail sentence. Hancock will return to court on May 23.
