GAINESVILLE, FL — A Florida mom has been arrested after allegedly leaving her three children, who range in age from 10 months to six years old, at home by themselves for hours at a time.

Gainesville Police charged Amy Bradley, 26, with three counts of child neglect on Wednesday, CBS4 Gainseville reports. Police say they responded to Bradley’s apartment in southeast Gainesville after a neighbor reported that they heard a child screaming for over an hour.

When police entered the apartment, they found a three-year-old at the top of the stairs in a diaper. The child was screaming and crying, police say, and another neighbor reportedly told police that Bradley regularly left the children alone.

Inside the apartment, police also found a six-year-old and a 10-month-old baby. After they found the six-year-old, she told the officers that she wasn’t feeling well and then she vomited in her bed.

After Bradley returned to the residence at around 11:30 P.M., she told police that she had left the six-year-old in charge, with instructions to give the baby a bottle, when she left the house to pick her boyfriend up.
