CYPRESS, CA — An outraged father confronted a man who allegedly took upskirt photos of unsuspecting female shoppers at a Target — including the dad’s 15-year-old daughter.

Authorities have shared surveillance video of the incident.

According to the Cypress Police Department, the video depicts Jorge A. Ibarra Jr., 29, following women around the local Target outlet.

In the footage, Ibarra can allegedly be seen approaching female customers, then crouching down and snapping upskirt photos of them with his phone.

Later, the tape reportedly shows Ibarra kneeling down in front of a store display, and attempting to photograph a teen girl and another female standing in a checkout line. At that point, the teen’s father storms into the frame, kicks the phone out of the suspect’s hand, and tackles him to the ground. The suspect shakes loose and flees the scene.

The irate dad has been identified as Ismael Duarte, who snapped a pic of his own — reportedly capturing an image of Ibarra as the suspect sped off from the store’s parking lot.

Talking to the press, Duarte said he didn’t know how many photos the suspect took, and fumed:

“I’m p-ssed off I didn’t do more than I did, but I wish I would have, because I’m so angry! … My daughter, and the girl that actually was getting her picture taken without being known — that’s what got me!”

Angelica Duarte, the teen’s mom, said that her husband went into “protect mode” after witnessing Ibarra acting erratically and putting his phone into camera mode before getting near their daughter. Angelica added:

“It’s disgusting that he knew exactly what he was doing. If he went to different Targets to do this, how many other stores did he go to?”

Police said that Ibarra is, in fact, suspected of committing similar violations at a Target in Cerritos.

Still, Ibarra’s crime in this incident is only a misdemeanor and, if he’s convicted, he would face less than a year in jail. As a result, authorities are trying to build a bigger case, so police are asking anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Ibarra to contact the Cypress police at (714) 229-6631.

Following the Cypress incident, Ibarra was arrested for invasion of privacy and booked with $25,000 bail.

Speaking into a TV camera, Ismael Duarte had one last message for Ibarra. He said:

“If you’re watching, just know that you messed with the wrong family! That’s all I’ve got to say!”
